My Body - My Territory as the idea of 21st festival City of Women

Ljubljana will be the place to be between October 5th and 15th when 21st International Festival of Contemporary Arts - City of Women will take place. This year's theme My Body - My Territory challenges the participating artists coming from all sides of the world (Europe, USA, New Zealand, Japan ...) to question existing sterotypes and prejudices about bodies and point out the importance of autonomous body. This year the CoW 2015 festival will present 46 different events with participating 95 artists, starting with the exhibition of the contemporary female comics on September 29th at Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture. 

We are happy to host such prominent names of the contemporary arts such as Cassils, Moira Finucane, Helena Velena, Marie-Hélène/Sam Bourcier, Dominic Johnson, Kris Grey, two premieres of Slovene artists Mala Kline and Irena Tomažin to name just a few. 

Festival program will be published online on September 18th.
