Grum Award winner Simona Semenič with her performance "the second time" at Klub Gromka in Ljubljana

At the 45th Week of Slovenien drama two of Semenič's work was awarded. She received the Grum Award for best original play for seven cooks, four soldiers and three sophias and a production based on her play 1981, directed by Nina Rajič Kranjac won the Šeligo Award for best production.

On Monday, April 13th at 9 pm Semenič will perform her latest work the second time on (or in front) of the stage at Klub Gromka - AKC Metelkova. With this performance she upgrades her first solo theatre piece from 2007 entitled I, Victim.the second time premiered in October 2014 at the 20th International Festival of Contemporary Arts - City of Women and because of it's divergent content and approach, it also appeared in the  accompanying programme of The Week of Slovenian Drama. The performance places a story about living with epilepsy and other health issues into self-ironically, sometimes comical confession, which is masterfully built throughout the performance by the most prominent playwrights in recent years, Simona Semenič.
