More Store

More Store combines installation, photography and video in a “boutique setting” where images of more than 40 women from around the World (Cameroon, Costa Rica, Brazil, The Netherlands, Iceland, etc.), of different ages (from 18 to 75) and of different physical constitution are exhibited in the form of bodysuits. More Store invites a reflection on the value placed on the body by arbitrary parameters such as country of origin (MADE IN included in each one of the bodysuit´s labels) and the manufacture of popular aesthetics. It mocks the value that we perceive to have as individuals when part of what we are is burdened by societal pressure by being added to the assets of the marketing system. More Store invites us to enter, literally and metaphorical into someone else’s skin. (Ana Álvarez-Errecalde)
