The Children (Les enfants)

Perhaps the most “traditional” film by Marguerite Duras, it is the story of 7-year-old Ernest, who won’t go to school, where what is taught is exactly what we don’t want to know. Also, it is Duras’ last full-length feature film, noticed even in Berlin and awarded a special mention of the jury.
